Last night's storm was a treat (watching from our living room across our back deck). We didn't get much wind here. We're sad to hear how bad Kentucky was hit (prayers for those families with losses).

An elevated D-dimer level is found after a clot has formed and is in the process of breaking down. A negative D-dimer test means that a blood clot is highly unlikely.

D-dimer is a fibrin degradation product, a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis. It is so named because it contains two D fragments of the fibrin protein joined by a cross-link.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
We are moving to #Tennessee! We love our community here (and very much plan to stay connected) but when we visited last year, the countryside captured our hearts.

We have no plans on opening a new practice. What we have here is thriving and will continue to be our main focus as grow and expand our services (my role will with the team will not change other than my private appointments become TeleMed).
